This week was the first week we had people over for pizza night. We had three friends in town (two from Austin, one from Madison) and perfect grilling weather. Everyone made their own pizza for dinner and then we had the goat cheese and strawberry pizza for dessert.
We used my standard pizza crust for the pizza. I mixed about 6 ounces of room temperature goat cheese and about 3 tablespoons of honey together. I grilled the pizza dough for about 3 minutes, flipped it, then added the goat cheese/honey mixture and sliced strawberries.
Then I grilled it for about another 3-ish minutes.
This pizza turned out alright. I meant to coat the sliced strawberries in sugar first and grill them separately, but forgot. I think it would have been better had I done that. The husband also thought it would have been better if it was sweeter.
